Q. When can I register and send in a poster? Posters can be submitted Jan 1, 2007 to April 15, 2007
Q. Can I send additional photographs or materials? No. Posters should contain all information needed for understanding the project in one display.
Q. What can I use for a poster title? Your poster should have the same title as the title you entered on the registration abstract-title page (170 character maximum for title).
Q. How is my poster identified as mine? Do I put my name or school on it? Your poster should not have your name or school name on it. In handling the entries the poster title and your e-mail address is linked and serves to keep track of the entries. If it is posted on the web it will be identified by the student entrant name and school.
Q. What type of file should be submitted? Posters in powerpoint format .ppt are preferred, JPEG files at high resolution are also preferred. The size of files should be less than 20 Mb for ease of e-mail handling. Adobe photoshop, TIFF, PICT, or GIF files can be accepted but may be too large for routine e-mail programs.
Q. What size should the overall poster be? Overall poster size should be 20-48 inches wide by 20-36 inches in heigth; or approximately 60-120 cm wide by 60-100 cm in height if it was printed at full size.
Q. I made a poster for my school class or science fair, can I enter this? Yes, a poster made by the student for a school or other competition can be submitted if it fits within the one of the catagories.
Q. I have a team project. Can I enter this myself? No, team projects are not considered in the poster competition.
