Other names for the Atlantic
Spotted Dolphin are : Spotted Porpoise, Spotter Bridled Dolphin, Gulf Stream
Dolphin,and Long Snouted Dolphin. The habitats of the Altantic Spotted
Dolphin is Offshore and Inshore of the Gulf of Mexico. The status of the
Dolphin is Locall Common . The population is unknown to find. The threats
are Hunting, Whaleing and entanglementsin the fishing nets. The group size
are 5-15 (5-10) a few hundreds may for temporary gathering. The Fin Position
is in the center. Newborns are 32"to 4' (80cm-1.2m) weight is unknown.
Adults are 5 1/4"-7'1/2" (1.7m -2.3m 220 -310lb (100-140kg). The diet is
fish ,Squid. The teeth is 64 - 68 on the top row and there are 60 - 80
on the bottom.
