Interesting Facts:
These are the most numerous type of gull in the Galveston area. Gulls are social feeders and will alert the flock when an individual finds food. Their name is derived from their voice that sounds like nasal laughing.
Ring-billed Gull
(Larus delawarensis)

Interesting Facts:
This is the smallest white-headed gull and is found throughout the United States and lower Canada.
