Minor spoilers to suit everyone:

I seem to remember that in order to reset the FCs, you needed to read the
sign in the FC room (using the TV camera) to get the right code.  You
needed to replace the bad cables in the FC, and the bad chips in the
little box in the supply room.  

And then the syntax was something like "push first circle".  Saying "push
foo" didn't work, as I recall, and there was no way to get a full list of
what each button was labeled as, so I had to write down the buttons ahead
of time.  I'm 99% sure that it's "xxxx FIRST yyyy", but xxxx might be
"press" and yyyy might be "button," now that I think about it.
