Hallway
   There's not much to the hallway, but it's still pretty nice and well lit,
the former being due to a picture framed on the wall, and the latter being due
to the light coming in from the Living Room to the south.  Your computer room
is to the north, the room you share with Jessica is to the west, and Sapphire's
room is to the east.  The stairs leading up to the attic are rather obtrusive
in the middle of the hall like they are, but they do provide a way up there.
   You see a wooden chair here.

Living Room
   Your living room is spacious and comfortable; a sofa you recall as being
terribly expensive is set up along the wall, across from which is the
television.  Tasteful paintings adorn the area above the sofa, and light
streams in through the window.  The kitchen is to the west, the hallway to the
north, and the eventual goal of your undertaking, the car, is in the garage to
the south.
   Jessica is happily preparing for the trip.

expecting babysitters, one is usually coerced into clean the room.  So one did
clean the room, despite not being overly happy about it.  One did get a kiss
and a well-intentioned 'thank you' for his trouble, though, so perhaps it

an arm around you as the two of you head toward the garage.

Jess hops in the car and motions for you to follow, which you do.  It feels
nice to get off your feet for a bit.  You close your eyes and relax, finally.

"What do you think?"  Jessica says, looking over at you.  You're about to
mention that you're tired, but then you look over at the beaming face in the
seat next to you.

Ah, hell, it was worth it.
